Recount Text

The purpose of Recount text is :
To retell events or something which happened in the past.
The structure of this text type is : 

• Orientation which tells the readers who was involved in the story, what happened, where the story took place and when it happened.
• Series of events which tell the sequence of events. These events are described in chronological order.
• Reorientation which summarize the event.
